Spring house, garden and farm tour

Come see what can be done with a grass field at the end of the main street of a small country town. These days Murrnong is a self-reliant home and farm, with food gardens, tree crop agriculture, chickens, milking goats, bees, and shelter forestry of trees and shrubs.

This tour offers insights that are helpful for people wishing to achieve increased self-reliance, ecological living and a way of life suited to present and future conditions. You will see and hear about practices and design thinking that are useful for small and large properties, urban and rural. The tour starts at 1pm, and finishes at about 3.30pm.
