Sunday 21st November 2021, 10am-4.30pm, with David Arnold.
Join us for this one day workshop, in which we apply permaculture thinking tools to practical situations, starting right at home.
We will consider examples of permaculture strategies and design being applied to the house, property and lives of our hosts for the day, Jenn and Cliffy Oliver (pictured).
This workshop is an opportunity to learn about permaculture in a real context, get to know about other people’s experiences, and consider what you can do.
Come prepared to get your hands a little dirty, your head brimming with positive solutions, and begin to see the opportunities that permaculture can bring to your home and life.
The content of this one day workshop is relevant to both urban and rural locations.
Teacher, hosts, and venue
David Arnold has been developing Murrnong Farm at Violet Town since 1996 and convenes the Murrnong Permaculture Design Course from there. Learn more about David and the Murrnong PDC at murrnong.com.
Jenn and Cliffy completed the Murrnong PDC in 2020, and have downshifted to consume less, have more family time, and to develop their domestic and small scale commercial food production.
Our venue for the day is their super interesting 5 hectare property, the former site of the Valley View nursery and tea rooms, where they sometimes host weddings. The property offers lots of opportunities and challenges. David Arnold has consulted at this property.
