Introduction to Permaculture

A one day workshop that focuses on choices and design strategies to increase our household and community capacity, self-reliance and resilience – moving from being consumers to becoming producers. The workshop provides an engaging introduction to the principles and techniques of permaculture. David Arnold teaches from over three decades of applied learning, teaching and consulting, read more about David here.

Outdoor learning classroom at Murrnong. However most of the workshop is out and about on the farm!

We can provide introduction to permaculture workshops at Murrnong, or bring the workshop to you. Workshops held at another house and garden will usually use the host property as a live design example, applying the design thinking tools in a way that participants may on their own properties.

We have worked with Landcare, community groups and keen individuals to host intro to permaculture workshops, both for private groups or public audiences. If you would like to arrange a workshop for your own group or area, please send an email or contact us through our webform.

Murrnong leads a few introduction to permaculture workshops a year, usually in spring. Sign up to our mailing list and follow our social media to be kept up to date with offerings.
